General Orhan Y�ney  was born in 1942 and graduated from the Military Academy in 1962 as an artillery officer. After serving as a platoon leader and battery commander in artillery units, he completed his military education at the Army Staff College in 1974 and graduated from the British Army Staff College in 1976.
