Medical Facility Fact Sheet


 

A multinational medical facility will be established as part of Exercise Cooperative Determination 2001 and will provide free medical care to local civilians. This facility will contribute both to the exercise and the locals while providing additional realism to the training.

The clinic will be established at the clinic of the Ministry of Defense, H.Chavid St.1. and will be operational on 8-17 November 2001 (except Sunday, 11 November 2001) between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Medical Personnel:

At least nine doctors with various specialties will be available in the medical facility.

Azerbaijan will also provide medical assistance.

3 from Turkey

2 from United States

1 from Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia

1 from Bulgaria

1 from Greece

1 from Romania

There will also be two nurses from Portugal, 2 nurses from Turkey, and soldiers to handle medical administrative matters.
